Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat
(Hereinafter referred to as “Butterfly habitat”)
Visitor Guidelines
General Safety Guidelines

Visitors must follow the instructions of the staff and pay attention to safety and warning signs.

To protect ourselves from stings or bites by mosquitoes, suggest using DEET-containing insect repellents on exposed parts of the body and clothing.

When visiting in summer, drink plenty of water or beverages containing appropriate amount of minerals, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent heat stroke.

For the sake of safety, handle kindling materials with great care.

Do not smoke or light fires within the landfill area (including the Butterfly Habitat), and do not touch any facilities such as gas pipes, gas wells, and electrical switches.

Do not touch any plants unless approved by the staff of the Butterfly Habitat.

Beware of thorns when gripping on a plant.

Keep away from hillsides and drains.

Do not use any machinery in the butterfly habitat without authorization.

Do not run, climb trees, enter the container office, or climb on top of the container.
-
Be careful of the slippery floors and prevent falling.
-
Be careful of moving vehicles or machinery, such as lawnmowers.
-
Please keep the venue clean and tidy, do not throw garbage anywhere.

In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the staff and remain calm.

In case of a thunderstorm during the event, stay away from iron fences or other metal installations, including antennae and water pipes, and hide in the building if possible.

If the Rainstorm Warning Signal, Special Announcement on Flooding, Thunderstorm Warning, or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above is issued, the Ecotour will be cancelled.
Heath Advice

Visitors must maintain good personal hygiene.

Avoid touching eyes, mouth and nose.

Cover the mouth and nose with tissue paper when sneezing or coughing.

Do not spit or litter.
-
Wash hands with liquid soap and water.
-
If hand washing facilities are not available, or when hands are not visibly soiled, performing hand hygiene with 70 to 80% alcohol-based handrub is an effective alternative.
